I found these very useful in diagnosing the problems I've been having and correcting them. Try them out and see if they help you also, it may save a lot of time, money, and headache in the long run with expensive on call technical support.
Error Nuker- The name says it all. It will scan your system and bring back critical information on what is wrong with your computer that may be slowing it down. You then have the option to let the program debug and refresh your unit to a must better configuration!
Registry Toolkit- This program cleans those errors that frequently pop up about missing files, etc. It scans your registry and will delete old keys that are no longer being used and help your computer work faster since it doesn't waste resources looking for something that isn't there.
Fast PC Secrets- This guy has created a program that can get you going back to normal speed in one hour or less. His program will boost performance, increase safety, is simple to do, has minimal cost, and won't take you long at all. A must read.
Computer Speed Up- What a great site. There are video tutorials that actually walk you through the process and show you step-by-step how to diagnose and fix your computer problems. It is very easy to follow and probably one of the best tools out there if you've got a computer problem you want to fix yourself.
